One of the great pleasures to experience is discovering a quality program that adds computing power and saves time, effort and money (especially if it's free). This page contains a short list of products I have used and/or supported.

OpenOffice.org is a multiplatform and multilingual office suite and an open-source project.  Compatible with all other major office suites, the product is free to download, use, and distribute.

Wink is a Tutorial and Presentation creation software, primarily aimed at creating tutorials on how to use software (like a tutor for MS-Word/Excel etc).

Blender is the open source software for 3D modeling, animation, rendering, post-production, interactive creation and playback.

Graphics by GimpGimp by The Gimp Team

 The GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.

Audacity by AudacityTeam.org

Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems.
